This past July 1st, (and every day) I hope you took time to reflect on the land on which we live and its original caretakers. This stolen land, cheated out of the caring hands of Indigenous communities

Please understand why we didn’t post about pride & rainbows all month: We have been very occupied doing the work of
dismantling systems that create endless barriers for us, our families and communities. Pride Month is every month at OBDS a

Parenting is hard work; the ultimate labour of love.

We are taking time to hold space for gratitude and appreciation to the Fathers serving and working hard to build their homes. The first father submission we’re highlighting is @ontariobarbe

Fathers Day is a mixed bag of emotions.
To those that are grieving, celebrating, feel excluded or don’t care for the day at all. We see you. You deserve care today and if no one told you, we love you, you are loved and you belong here.
